TheReef and Red Sail Sports have also teamed up to provide the ultimate family excursion - a catamaran trip to the Stingray Sandbar. We charter a 65' catamaran exclusively for our guests and sail out in the afternoon from Rum Point. By leaving slightly later than most trips, we're able to miss any crowds from cruise ships or Seven Mile Beach.

The trip begins with an authentic Cayman Island snorkeling stop at the North Sound Reef (yes, your guides will actually hand-feed a green moray eel; and, no it won't feed them a hand), then we head for the sandbar. We're often the only boat there, so everyone will get the opportunity to feed and hold a Southern Stingray (they're big, wet puppy dogs!), get a Stingray massage, and don't forget your Stingray kiss. And just when you think it couldn't get any better, we raise sail to catch those warm tropical breezes, sip rum punch, and sail for home to the sounds of the Barefoot Man...
